Vanity Tables

Here are a few of my favorite snapshots of vanity tables that I have collected in my inspiration folder on my laptop. Right now I live in a very tiny one bedroom apartment, so for space saving purposes, my desk doubles as my vanity table. This is less than ideal. I love having a whole vanity table just dedicated to displaying all your pretty jewelry and girly odds and ends! It just makes me so happy to have all this pretty-ness on display! As soon as I get a bigger apartment, a vanity table or nice big dresser with lots of counter top space will be among my first purchases!

  1. I long for a girly vanity but I have to share my room with a boy. :-(

  2. I plan to convert the desk in my husband's and my bedroom into a vanity. It will be mostly a vanity, and also for writing letters. Think it will work? Do you use your vanity/desk more as a desk, or as a vanity? I hope it will be a cute, functional hybrid. When I'm done, I'll post the before and after on my blog.

    1. I use my desk mainly as a desk and a place to display my jewelry. I have a framed cork board above my desk that I hang dangly earrings and necklaces from push pins. And then on my desk I have two stacked jewelry boxes to hold other beauty odds and ends and a big glass bowl for nail polishes. The rest of my desk space is taken up by just typical desk stuff (lamp, pencil holder, file folder etc.). The rest of my "vanity items" reside on my bathroom countertop. Sooo, long story short, I think your desk will definitely work for you! I look forward to seeing your photos! Good luck!
